My name is Agustín, I am from Argentina and I am an Alumni for the first ever EMMIE cohort. My project Evenimpact was born during my time at EMMIE. Back then, it was just an idea: how could we help companies connect with nonprofits in a more meaningful way? After graduation, I decided to keep it alive. Slowly, step by step. Not always fast, but always focused.
And then, something exciting happened.
A few months ago, thanks to Abed from Cohort 2 (forever grateful! 🙌), I got the chance to attend ChangeNOW 2025 in Paris. It was an inspiring whirlwind, packed with ideas, connections, and of course, lots of EMMIE alumni. One of those encounters was with Fikret Zendeli, the founder of Social Friday.
If you don’t know it yet, Social Friday is a global initiative that turns Friday afternoons into opportunities for impact. Companies and nonprofits come together, not in boardrooms, but out in the community, creating real change side by side. It immediately resonated with me. After all, that’s exactly what Evenimpact has always aimed for: building bridges between the private and social sectors.
A Collaboration Begins
That meeting in Paris turned into something tangible. And in June, Evenimpact hosted the very first Social Friday in Argentina.
We brought together:
🎨 More than 10 artists
🏢 5 companies
🤝 2 nonprofits

And this collaboration led to a series of colorful murals in a foster home in Mar del Plata. What started as a conversation at ChangeNOW suddenly became paintbrushes, teamwork, laughter, and walls full of life. For Evenimpact, this wasn’t just another event. It was fresh energy, a chance to grow, and maybe even the beginning of something bigger. Social Friday already runs in 10+ countries and we’re excited to bring Evenimpact to each one of them!

What’s Next
As we look ahead, I’m grateful. Not only to the artists, companies, nonprofits, and everyone who took part in this event, but also to the EMMIE community for continuing to open doors and spark meaningful connections. There’s plenty of potential to build on, and I’m excited to see where it leads.

Here’s to more Fridays, more colors, and more impact.
